My journey with ScoreLeap and Kalyan has spanned a little over 1.5 years and I am incredibly grateful for the experience.

I began my GMAT and GRE preparation with ScoreLeap, taking 1:1 classes with Kalyan. Beyond the essential prep topics, Kalyan instilled numerous additional lessons that significantly contributed to my success. I quickly realized that excelling in the GMAT/GRE is not merely about mastering the concepts; it also involves adept time management and strategic test-taking, areas where I initially struggled. Kalyan taught me effective techniques to navigate the entire exam with ease. His constant motivation and availability for support, even during setbacks or stressful periods, were extremely extremely invaluable. Balancing work and study can be overwhelming, but having a mentor who understands your schedule and provides tailored guidance is crucial. Kalyan always ensured I wasn’t overstressed and supported me every step of the way.

There were moments when I was tempted to stop studying further after achieving a good score and move on to the application process. However, Kalyan encouraged me to aim higher, believing in my potential based on my background, and pushed me to achieve even greater scores, which eventually paid off.

Once I had a competitive score, I chose ScoreLeap for the application process as well. At first, the fees seemed steep compared to other companies, and I had my reservations. However, looking back now, I can confidently say it was worth every penny. Other consultants I explored had rigid schedules and limitations on their involvement, but Kalyan was always just a text or call away, sometimes meeting with me 2-3 times a week if needed. This accessibility and dedication greatly eased the application process. We spent extended calls crafting my stories and refining my applications. Even close to deadlines, Kalyan never hesitated to accommodate last-minute changes, regardless of the hour. I vividly remember missing a B-school deadline and texting Kalyan in a panic; he called me back at 3 AM, providing immediate advice that helped me submit the application despite the missed deadline.

I honestly feel that the effort we put into the MBA journey as applicants is substantial and extremely taxing, but having a consultant who matches that effort makes the process enjoyable despite the stress. Although my journey with ScoreLeap has concluded, I anticipate a continued mentorship with Kalyan during my actual MBA journey, especially in terms of networking.

I would like to end my review by saying that Kalyan is the best teacher, mentor, and counselor one could have during their MBA journey. I wholeheartedly recommend ScoreLeap and Kalyan to future aspirants
